Frequently Asked Questions

Do you require the use of specific vendors?

Brockington Hall has developed amazing relationships with local vendors that have continually performed above par. For this reason, we do have a preferred vendor list that we highly recommend our clients use, however it is not required.

What is the guest capacity for the venue?

The venue’s maximum capacity is 110 guests.

Do you allow alcohol on site?

Yes! We are happy to provide a bar service for events at Brockington Hall; please contact us at 912.484.1449 for more information on this service. Alternately, outside alcohol is allowed for an additional fee. Proof of alcohol license and insurance must be provided.

What are your venue rates?

The venue rental includes a standard rental time of 4 hours for the ceremony and reception. The venue rental depends on several factors including the number of guests, day of week, and time of year.

Do you provide event insurance?

For your protection and ours, we recommend that you obtain insurance for events involving more than 50 people.  Event insurance is available at a modest cost.  We recommend Wedsure.com.

What are your hours?

Because Brockington Hall is located on a quiet street surrounded by other historic properties that are dwellings or small business facilities, we require that music be discontinued by 10:00 pm and any noisy breakdown should be accomplished by 10:00 pm or shortly thereafter. The premises must be vacated by guests very shortly after 10:00 pm.

What responsibilities do clients have?

Brockington Hall makes every reasonable effort to maintain the premises in quality condition and at operational effectiveness.  Because Brockington Hall is a historic structure, users must be mindful of its residential character, any special safety concerns, and a strict prohibition against alterations that mar the premises in any way.  No items may be hung on the walls without express permission and no items can be removed from the walls. Furniture shown on our floor plan may not be moved.  Other furniture and other items may not be moved without express permission and cannot be dragged across the floors.

It is your responsibility to remove equipment and supplies brought in for your event and to leave the venue clean of trash and debris, ready for use by others.

Brockington Hall provides paper towels and other paper products but you are welcome to substitute your own towels should you wish to do so.

Do you allow smoking?

Brockington Hall is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is allowed outside of the building.

Is event parking available?

We provide parking for your event planner and caterer for loading purposes.  There is parking on the street within a few blocks at almost any time.  It is a residential area and guests should plan to arrive a little early to ensure available spots. For large parties, we encourage you to use local trolley or other transportation services.  We recommend Old Savannah Tours (The White Wedding Trolley), who will pick you and your guests up from your hotel or ceremony location and transport you to Brockington Hall before and after your event.

Is event security available?

Depending on the size and time of your event, you may be required to provide security. Brockington Hall provides no security for your event and makes no guarantees on security.
